In my case, it really made a impact on me, specially on my exercise habits. I've now decided to start jogging, normally early in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon after work, other on the weekends. It is so easy to quit :) You can always say "oh, I'm so tired this morning", or "I really had a hard day today", or even "I've done enough, this is better than nothing". But when this sentence comes to my mind now, I never want to quit, I always want to push myself to run more. And I do it. Last time I did it, I run for 2 hours, and I had people already looking for me :) Here's a pic of one of my recent runs (10kms):
You can find out more details about my trainings in this link http://pamscosta.motionbased.com/. Maybe you'll get excited too.
Next Friday I'm going to participate in my first half marathon (21km). I want to win by reaching to the end, running (walking doesn’t count). Apart from any unpredictable health condition, I intend to win, I'm not planning to quit. Let’s see if I can make it. But even if I don't make it, I will not quit, I'll learn from it, and I'll prepare myself for the next time.
Wish me luck.
